Exhibition 111 years of Music School Kranj
In cooperation with the Music School Kranj, we kindly invite you to visit the exhibition 111 years of the Kranj Music School in Khislstein Castle.
In 1909, the Kranj reading room initiated the establishment of a music school. The inaugural meeting was held in September at the gymnasium gym, classes began as early as December of that year. Thus, the “Music School in Kranj” was the first and for many years the only educational music institution in Gorenjska.
The Gorenjska Museum will also pay tribute to the school, which has been taking care of the musical creativity of the youngest for more than a century, for countless performances and events in Kranj and its surroundings, as well as for the everyday children’s hustle and bustle in the old town. .
